Points to Consider

Please ensure your abstract meets the format and content requirements.

  • Use the following sections: Title, Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusions (each entered in its corresponding field).
  • Title must not exceed 200 characters (including spaces). Abstract text must not exceed 3000 characters (including spaces).
  • Objective: reason for the study. Methods: participants/cases and methods. Results: data and statistics if applicable. Conclusions: outcomes and contribution to knowledge.
  • Do not include any information that identifies authors or institutional affiliations in the title or main text.
  • Define abbreviations in full at first occurrence.

Peer Review Criteria

Paying attention to these points may increase the likelihood of acceptance.

  • Objective is valid, meaningful, and clearly stated.
  • Number of cases/participants is sufficient.
  • Methodology is clearly described and reproducible.
  • For clinical studies: prospective design, control group, and adequate follow-up.
  • Results are clear and understandable.
  • Statistical analyses have been performed (where appropriate).
  • Data are interpreted correctly.
  • Conclusions are appropriate and meaningful.
  • Study provides new knowledge or perspectives.
